* Talk to Regine (A); she gives you 3 hatchets and requests you log 3 Plateau Chestnut from the trees in Abyssea - La Theine.
o The most common place to find Logging Points is around the (I-11)/(J-11) area of Abyssea - La Theine, beware as the Logging Points can often be surrounded by Crepuscule Puks.
o Another place to find Logging Points is around D6/E6 close to the base camp.
o 4 Logging Points spawned one after the other in the D8 region.
o 4 logging points at L-7
o Note that the above mentioned area is possible to NOT have any logging points. Meaning you can waste a lot of time getting over there for nothing. They can appear in another area that nobody has noted yet.

* Turn in the Chestnuts to Rugiette (A) located at the (H-7) central encampent.

* Talk to Amaura (A); she wants you to bring her a Sunbeam Fragment. Head to the south east most corner of grig J-6 (against the cliff edge), find the spot "Jagged Cliff" (Daytime only, 06:00~18:00). Complete the Mini-Game to acquire Sunbeam Fragment. Grab the fragment a little later when you're bouncing back up to successfully grab it.
o Veridical Conflux No. 7 can provide quick transit to the "Jagged Cliff;" however, bear in mind the Cruor cost of utilizing the Veridical Confluxes.
+ Veridical Conflux No. 7 can also provide quick transit back to the Main Encampment (Veridical Conflux No. 1), so long as both Confluxes have been activated; teleportation to the Main Encampment from any Conflux is always free of cost.
o You must bungee jump and click to grab the Sunbeam Fragment at the lowest possible point of the bungee.
o You are allowed only three attempts to snatch the Sunbeam Fragment.
* Quest may be repeated upon zoning.
* Return to Amaura (A) for reward (even if failed).
o Hi-Reraiser will be given after every success.
o A sturdy pyxis with a status enhancement has popped on first time success.
o Failure will yield 60 Cruor

Start NPC Joulet (A) - Abyssea - La Theine Central Encampment (H-7)
Items Needed Willow Fishing Rod
Repeatable Yes, after zoning
Reward 120 Cruor. Possibly 240 under certain conditions.




* Talk to Joulet (A); he gives you a Broken Willow Rod and requests you fix the rod and deliver to his brother Gallijaux (A) at the (L-11) Encampment.

* You do not need to fix the rod that Joulet (A) gives to you; you can use any Willow Fishing Rod to finish this quest.
* 10 Repetitions of this quest will result in Lv.2 Abyssea - La Theine Fame starting at no fame.
* Another 10 repetitions is required to move from lv.2 to lv.3 Abyssea - La Theine fame.
